Brew size:
23 L in 375 ml bottles
Grains:
250 g Amber/Brown ale grain pack (Crystal & Chocolate)
Hops:
60 g Amarillo - 90 mins boil
60 g Cascade - 60 mins boil
30 g Cluster - 30 mins boil
12 g Morgan's Tettnanger Finishing Hop Bag - steeped in 1
cup hot water for 10 mins then put into secondary fermenter
Yeast:
Cascade Bohemian Brewer's Yeast
Extracts:
2 kg LDME
1 kg Ultra Brew (Malt, Dextrose, Maltodextrin)
Adjuncts:

Brewing Time:
1 week primary fermentation
1 week secondary fermentation
Temperatures:
Yeast pitched at 25 C
Primary fermentation between 14-22 C
Secondary fermentation between 12-23 C
Approximate ABV:
5.5%
Notes:
Our first attempt at a strong, hoppy, IPA.
Smells & tastes excellent at 1 week. Was our hoppiest brew to date (recently surpassed by the Webb #1). Hope profile was lower than it should have been due to small boil volume. This is something we will work on now. However, still a fantastic beer, if a little cloudy when chilled.
